Our task today was path repairs. Back in March after quite a bit of rain (remember rain?!!) the paths leading to the Main Hide were in a very poor state.…… you could not avoid the mud……..The gated entrance path was just as bad.People started creating new paths which became really bad too.Brandon ordered 10 tons of hardcore and with shovels and barrows at the ready, we began to make good the damage. We were joined by two new volunteers today, Gail and Jade, many thanks for coming to help ladies.Edwin, Pete and Pete acting in convoy with the first barrow loads.Edwin hfollowed up his stint with the barrowing and helped out Ange with the raking.Let’s hope all our good work pays off!If it doesn’t work, we still have about 5 tons of hardcore left for another try !!
