The islands are all overgrown again, so our task today is to clear the excess vegetation ready for next years bird breeding season.Lifejackets on, all health and safety rules observed, and off our intrepid environmentalists set of on their epic expedition.…… that’s not to say we didn’t experience a few knotty problems on the way!Andy makes short work of some of the heavy stuff.The weather was overcast but mild, perfect volunteering climate.Gail enjoys a half-time break, great to see the return the tea and coffee intervals after a long absence!What a difference, still more islands to do but a great start made.
